Does Insurance Cover
Virtual Lactation Consultations?
Many insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Cigna, cover virtual breastfeeding support, but coverage varies.
Use our insurance verification to find out if you're eligible.
If your insurance does not cover virtual lactation consultation visits, we offer a cash-pay option for $125 per telehealth consultation. We can also provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Note: After you complete the insurance verification form, our client coordinator will review your coverage. If your insurance does not cover virtual lactation consultations, we’ll notify you directly and discuss available cash pay options before moving forward with your appointment.
